We are coming into the time of year that just makes you appreciate the sunshine and warmth it brings. It’s not quite hot enough to be uncomfortable and is the perfect time of year to start some outdoor activities with your family or friends. I love to see how many young mothers are out with their new babies as well as watching fathers jogging through the park with their children in one of those jogging contraptions.
It is also a great time of year to access your yard and gardens; especially if you are looking to sell your home anytime soon. The “curb appeal” is a major factor when selling a home. I cannot tell you how many properties I pull up to where the buyer says no before ever leaving the car! Though I can sometimes convince them to at least take a look, the seller has made a really bad impression. The inside better be immaculate to overcome the first impression.
If you need some help, call Teacup Gardener. They have done some wonderful work for sellers in the past getting their yards and garden in great condition to sell.
Hi, my name is Beth O’Leary and Liz has asked me to write a post about my company on her blog while she recovers from hip surgery, which I am happy to do. Teacup Gardener is a Gardening and Landscaping Company that was founded in 1980 by me and my partner, Robert Edwards. Though we do a lot of work establishing gardens and planting, we also do a lot of hardscape construction that many people need before they ever put a plant in the ground.
Fall is the perfect time to expand your outdoor spaces whether it is to repair what you currently have; renovate your current space into something totally new and wonderful or; create a new space that you have been dreaming of. Call Teacup Gardener if you need someone that has experience in building patios and decks, ponds and other water features, driveways, irrigation and drainage issues or just a consultation and design information to make sure you are getting the best out of your yard or gardening situation. We have designers, contractors and a horticulturist on staff to help you with all of your landscape and gardening needs. Because we have lived and worked in the Nashville area for almost 20 years, we know what grows and works in the area and would love to work for you.
We have worked with Liz giving her listings a face lift outside to up the curb appeal of the homes and, according to Liz, have been instrumental in helping those homes sell. We would be honored to help yours as well if you are looking for this type of quick facelift to your yard.
Water is the source of life. It is also what causes mold, eats through many things and carries disease and is something that you want to control from getting into your home. Many times people call the plumber or the basement guy to get water out of those low places in your home. I’ve just discovered, in many cases, you should be calling your landscaper!
That’s right; many times your landscaping company can correct the drainage issue that is coming into your home for far less than you might think. They also reroute the water to go around your home instead in your home taking water away from the foundation. If you live in and around Nashville, Teacup Gardener is a wonderful landscaping company with extensive experience in this area.
If you live in other areas, give your landscaper a call and ask for referrals to see if they have the kind of experience needed to tackle this kind of job. It is up to you to do your homework and make sure any company really knows how to do those things required; especially in times of economic stress as companies expand their services.
