One of the things that people forget about is the power of teamwork. When you are working with a strong team of individuals who have the same goals as you, powerful things can happen. I know in my life that part of that team is my family who supports what I do even when it’s tough. I also have a team at RE/MAX Choice Properties that is second to none and where I can go to find answers and help on a moments notice.
It is this type of teamwork that makes so many of us who work hard each and every day a success. As I watched the Oscars this year it dawned on me how many people it takes to make a film. We hear about the actors and the directors but only when we watch the awards do we see how many team members it takes for a film to be successful. It’s the same for many of us and we all need to acknowledge the power of teamwork.
There is an old saying; “numbers never lie” that is appropriate as you look for the Real Estate Company in and around the Nashville, Tennessee area. You will see a lot of advertising stating who is number one in what and though they may have been in the past, the most recent numbers indicate that the number one Real Estate Company for sales of single family residential properties is RE/MAX Choice Properties.
If you are looking in Sumner County or the Hendersonville and Goodlettsville Tennessee areas there is no question who has sold more single family residential properties. Let’s just take a look at the numbers.

As you can clearly see, RE/MAX Choice Properties in Hendersonville is the clear and present winner for anyone looking to list their property or looking to buy a property in Sumner County!
COME ONE, COME ALL to Drakes Creek Park, Friday, July 3rd beginning at 4 p.m and bring the whole family to the 2009 Freedom Festival presented by RE/MAX Choice Properties. It is fun for the entire family and includes music and the Kidszone featuring inflatable jumps and other great rides and entertainment for the kids at very reasonable prices ($1 per ride or $10 for the 1st armband and $5 for additional armbands). There is also great food available from our local restaurants so no one will go hungry. However, you can’t have a real Freedom Festival without fireworks so make sure you stick around for the fireworks celebration sponsored by the Hendersonville Parks Department that start at 9 PM and will light up the night sky!
It’s wonderful to be a part of an organization that gives back to the community the way RE/MAX Choice Properties does. This is the sixth year to sponsor the Freedom Festival, which raises money for the non-profit arm of the local Chamber of Commerce, the Hendersonville Chamber Foundation. The foundation issues education grants to Hendersonville area teachers as well as multiple grants each year totaling $22,500. It also provides a full scholarship to a Volunteer State Community College student each year. All great causes for a wonderful and active community so come out and enjoy the fun!
For the last few years I have had my main office in East Nashville and have had a wonderful time being on that side of town, even though I live on the lake in Hendersonville. Though it has been a great for business and I continue to spend most of my time in East Nashville, I have had to move my office for personal reasons this spring.
Many of you know that my 90 year old mother fell and broke a couple of ribs not long ago and has had a devil of a time healing. This accident has made it imperative that I be closer to where she is and being in the Hendersonville office when I don’t have East Nashville business makes it a lot easier and quicker to get to her if she needs me.
My business focus has always been and continues to be both East Nashville and Hendersonville and that will not change. I will still spend most of my time in one or the other place! The only thing that has changed is where I hang my “shingle” and that is now in the Hendersonville Re/Max Choice Properties Office on Indian Lake Drive. Please call me and see where I am then stop in and see me when you are in the neighborhood; East Nashville or Hendersonville or somewhere in-between!
This past week has been a very trying week for me because my elderly mother fell and broke a rib and I have had to go and take care of her throughout the nights and continue working in the day to fulfill my obligations as a Realtor to my clients. Though I have always been aware and grateful to the people that support my business efforts, I have never been so relieved to have them on my team!
My husband, who is also a part of my business, has been wonderful in taking so many things off my plate and just handling them; the various people at ReMax Choice Properties in East Nashville and Hendersonville who have filled in the gaps when Bob nor I could; the guys who take care of my website; and the friends and my “sales force”, also known as the Metro BNI Chapter who have given me both moral support as well as referrals to get some much needed help with my mother. There is beauty in having a team behind you that you can count on when things are rocking right along and when not so good things happen; to all of you, many thanks!
It looks like there is a good chance for rain on July 4th in the Middle Tennessee Area. If you would like to “jump start” your July Fourth Celebration and 3-day Vacation, come to the Freedom Festival, Thursday, July 3rd at Drake’s Creek Park.
There will be a wide variety of activities, food, music (Ronnie McDowell, Kelly Lang & T. G. Sheperd, to name a few) & fun! Admission is free and donations will be accepted to benefit the Chamber Foundation School Improvement Program and Scholarships.
The fun starts 2:00 pm with the big bang celebration of Independence Day starting at 9:30 pm. You can make it a day long celebration with family and friends. By the way, don’t forget the lawn chairs!
I’m proud to be a part of a company that gives back to their community. RE/MAX Choice Properties is proud to sponsor the fireworks.
